Předmětem zkoumání diplomové práce je odložená daň z příjmů v sektoru komerčních pojišťoven a automobilového průmyslu. Cílem je pomocí dat z výročních zpráv společností za období 2016 – 2020 analyzovat strukturu titulů vedoucích k tvorbě odložené daně z příjmu a jejího významu v jednotlivých sektorech. Dalším cílem je přezkoumání odložené daně a jejího dopadu ve vztahu k vybraným ukazatelům finanční analýzy. Teoretická část se zabývá vymezením pojmu odložená daň, jejím významem, účetním zachycením, historickým vývojem a strukturou titulů vedoucích k její tvorbě. V praktické části práce jsou na reprezentativním vzorku 15 společností zkoumány tituly a jejich podíl na čisté odložené daňové pohledávce a závazku, významnost pro jednotlivé sektory a vliv odložené daně na výši vybraných finančních ukazatelů. The subject of the diploma thesis is deferred tax in the sector of commercial insurance and automotive industry. The aim is to analyze the structure of titles leading to deferred income tax and its importance in different sectors using data from companies annual reports for the period 2016 – 2020. Another aim is to examine deferred tax and its impact in relation to selected financial analysis indicators. The theoretical part deals with the definition of the deferred tax, its significant, accounting capture, historical development and the structure of titles leading to its creation. In the practical part of the thesis are on a representative sample of 15 companies examined the titles and their share in the net deferred receivable and liability, the significance for individual sectors and the impact of deferred tax on the amount of selected financial indicators.
