Aplikace superabsorpčních polymerů má významný efekt při pěstování potravinářských a technologických plodin v aridních ? oblastech. Tato práce se zabývá zhodnocením dopadu využití SAP s řízeným uvolňováním živin na Zea Mays. Experiment byl založen jako nádobový pokus, během kterého byl u rostlin vytvářen stres způsobený nedostatkem vody. Použití SAP v kombinaci s hnojivy se prokázalo jako efektivnější, v porovnání s použitím čistého SAP. Spektrálními analýzami bylo prokázáno, že SAP v kombinaci s hnojivy významně zvýšil obsah rostlinných pigmentů a snížil obsah sekundárních metabolitů. Nebyly zjištěny významné změny v celkové antioxidační aktivitě. Výsledky potvrzují, že využitím SAP s postupným uvolňováním živin je možné alespoň částečně snížit stres způsobený suchem. The application of superabsorbent polymers has a significant effect on the cultivation of food and technical crops in arid areas. This thesis is dedicated to evaluating the impact of the use of SAP with the controlled release of nutrients on Zea mays. The experiment was performed as a pot experiment, during which the plants were under drought stress. The use of SAP enriched by fertilizers has proven to be more effective than the use of unenriched SAP. Spectral analyses have shown that SAP in combination with fertilizers significantly increased the content of plant pigments and reduced the content of secondary metabolites. No significant changes have been observed in the total antioxidant activity. The results confirm that the use of SAP with a gradual release of nutrients can at least partially reduce the stress caused by drought.
