Téma této práce je Energetický potenciál kalů z čistíren odpadních vod. Rešeršní část se věnuje právním požadavkům v oblasti nakládání s čistírenskými kaly a způsoby jejich zpracování se zaměřením na termické metody. Jsou popsány současné způsoby nakládání s kaly v České republice. Hlavním tématem je sušení odvodněných kalů jako mezikrok pro termické zpracování čistírenských kalů. Byly provedeny experimenty sušení kalů na vzorcích o různých tvarech a velikostech ze tří různých čistíren odpadních vod při teplotě 60 ˚C a 105 ˚C. Výsledky byly sledovány pomocí sušících křivek a křivek rychlosti sušení a data statisticky vyhodnocena. The topic of the thesis is The energy potential of sewage sludge. The research part deals with the legal requirements of sewage sludge management and methods of its processing with a focus on thermal methods. The current sludge management methods in the Czech Republic are described. The main topic is dewatered sludge drying as an intermediate step for thermal treatment of sewage sludge. Sludge drying experiments were performed on samples of different shapes and sizes collected from three different waste-water treatment plants at 60˚C and 105˚C. The results were monitored using drying curves and drying rate curves, and the data were statistically evaluated.
