Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na jezdectví jako volnočasovou aktivitu v období adolescence. Cílem teoretické části je vymezit pojem volný čas, zabývat se rolí volného času v životě je-dince, motivací a riziky trávení volného času. Další hlavní kapitola je věnována jezdectví jako volnočasové aktivitě, která se zaměřuje na jezdectví jako na disciplínu, přínos koně z historického a součastného hlediska, a popisuje možné uplatnění na trhu práce v oblasti jez-dectví. Poslední pasáž teoretické části je věnována vývojovým specifikům adolescence. Me-todami využité pro zpracování teoretické části je studium odborných literárních zdrojů, tvorba výpisků a jejich analýza, srovnávání a syntéza. Cílem praktické části práce je zjistit, jakou roli hraje jezdectví v životě adolescentů a co je k tomuto koníčku motivuje. Použit je kvalitativní metodologický přístup, nástrojem sběru dat je polostrukturovaný rozhovor. Metodou plánované analýzy pro rozhovory získa-ných dat je otevřené kόdování. Informanty jsou adolescenti, věnující se ve svém volném čase jezdectví. This Bachelor thesis focuses on equestrian in the period of adolescence. The aim of the theo-retical part is to define the concept leisure time, to deal with the role of leisure time in the life of an individual, motivation and the impact of inefficient leisure time spending. Following main chapter deals with equestrian, as a leisure time activity focusing on equestrian as a dis-cipline, the horse contribution, from a historical point of view describing possible succeeding in the labour market in the field of equestrian. The last part of theoretical part deals with de-velopmental specifics of adolescence. The study of expert literature sources, creation of ex-cerpts and their analysis, comparison and synthesis are methods used to treat them. The aim of practical part of thesis is to find out what role equestrian plays in the life of adolescents and what the motivation to take up this hobby is. Qualitative methodological ap-proach is used, the data acquisition tool is a semi – structured interview. Open encoding is the method of planned analysis for interviews with acquired date and adolescents practising equestrian in their leisure time are the informants.
