Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou a porovnáním několika podílových fondů mezi sebou na základě kritérií výnosu a rizika. Podílové fondy alternativního zaměření jsou porovnávány s fondy standardními. Výběr fondů byl proveden z pohledu možností drobného investora. Všechny vybrané fondy jsou denominovány v CZK. Vedle analýzy výkonnosti jednotlivých podílových fondů byly předmětem zkoumání také investiční metody dollar cost averaging a value averaging. Úvodní kapitoly se věnují představení investování do podílových fondů a rovněž definování metodologie, která je využita v praktické části práce. Druhá část práce zahrnuje analýzu a porovnání vybraných fondů, na základě kterého jsou následně vyvozeny závěry práce. Focus of this diploma thesis is to analyse and compare multiple mutual funds with each other based on criteria of return on investment and risk. Mutual funds following an alternative investment strategy are compared to those following a standard one. Selection of funds has been performed from perspective of a small retail investor. All funds within the selection sample are denominated in CZK currency. In addition to the analysis of the performance of mutual funds different investment approaches that investor can follow such as dollar cost averaging and value averaging were considered. Initial chapters provide an insight to mutual fund investing as well as define methodology that is later used in the practical part of the thesis. Second half of the thesis contains an overview and analysis of selected mutual funds and serves as a source from which final results and conclusions are drawn.
