Bakalářská práce se zabývá reflexí ženských individuí ve vybrané povídkové tvorbě tří autorek z přelomu 19. a 20. století, a to v povídce Síla života (1896) od Luisy Zikové, Přetížený klas (1896) od Růženy Svobodové a Ženy (1909) od Růženy Jesenské. Ve vybraných textech je analyzována reflexe ženských protagonistek a zároveň jsou mezi sebou komparovány různé přístupy zachycování emancipujícího se ženského individua. Pozornost je také věnována vlivu dobového diskurzu na utváření a zobrazování tzv. nové ženy. This bachelor thesis explores the reflection of female individuals in selected short stories by three authors from the turn of the 19th and 20th century, namely in the short story Síla života (1896) by Luisa Ziková, Přetížený klas (1896) by Růžena Svobodová and Ženy (1909) by Růžena Jesenská. The selected texts analyse the reflection of the female protagonists and at the same time compare different approaches to depicting the emancipating female individual. Attention is also paid to the influence of the discourse of the analysed period on the formation and portrayal of the "New woman".
