Diplomová práce se zabývá vytvářením svatého Jana Nepomuckého v prostoru barokních slavností pořádaných k uctění uvedeného světce především ve dvacátých a třicátých letech 18. století. Autor upře pozornost zejména na kázání coby médium, které se zásadně podílelo nejen na konstrukci obrazu mučedníka zpovědního tajemství, ale rovněž celé slavnosti. Proto se zaměří na rozličné komunikační strategie a postupy kazatelů využívané v průběhu svatojánských festivit k ovlivňování imaginace svého obecenstva. V souvislosti s vytvářením obrazu svatého Jana Nepomuckého z výšin kazatelny se v zorném úhlu diplomové práce rovněž ocitnou aktuální kulturně-historická témata jako například fenomény těla, emocí, smyslů, gest, ale také lidské řeči a jazyka. The master thesis deals with the fabrication of Saint John of Nepomuk in the space of Baroque festivals organized to honour the saint, especially in the 1720s and 1730s. In particular, the author focuses on the sermon as a medium, that was fundamentally involved not only in the construction of the image of the martyr of the seal of confession, but also in the whole festivity. Therefore, he will focus on the various communicative strategies and practices preachers used during the festivities to influence the imagination of their audiences. In connection with the fabrication of the image of the Saint John of Nepomuk from the heights of the pulpit, current cultural and historical themes such as the phenomena of the body, emotions, senses, gestures, as well as human speech and language will also be in the scope of the thesis.
