Cílem této bakalářské práce je přiblížení cílů a snah vynaložených na podporu mnohojazyčnosti jako jedné z priorit francouzského předsednictví v Radě Evropské unie v první polovině roku 2022. V první části práce je popsán právní základ a historický vývoj EU, termín mnohojazyčnosti a její praktickém uplatňování ve vybraných orgánech EU. Dále jsou zmíněny priority francouzského předsednictví a následně jsou představeny jednotlivé dokumenty a aktivity, které vznikly z iniciativy Francie v rámci jejího předsednictví v Radě EU s cílem podpory mnohojazyčnosti. Sekundární část práce se věnuje jazykovému rozboru příslušné právní terminologie a následnému vypracování dvojjazyčného česko-francouzského glosáře. Celou práci uzavírá résumé ve francouzském jazyce. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to present the objectives and efforts made to promote multilingualism as one of the priorities of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the first half of 2022. The first part of the thesis describes the legal basis and historical development of the EU, the term multilingualism and its practical application in selected EU institutions. Next, the priorities of the French Presidency are mentioned and then the different documents and activities initiated by France during its Presidency of the Council of the EU to promote multilingualism are presented. The secondary part of the thesis is focused on the linguistic analysis of the relevant legal terminology and the subsequent development of a bilingual Czech-French glossary. The whole work ends with a résumé in French.
