[cze][eng] Dentofobie, známá jako strach ze zubařů, představuje častý problém. Pro pacienty trpící dentofobií je návštěva zubního lékaře často zdrojem stresu a úzkosti, což může vést k odložení potřebné péče a zhoršení stavu jejich zubů. Teoretická část práce se zabývá problematikou vzniku dentofobie, vysvětluje etiologii a příčiny jejího udržení a představuje různé alternativy léčby. Dále se zaměřuje na význam sestry edukátorky a proces edukace, který představuje klíčovou metodu pro práci s pacienty. Verbální i neverbální komunikace, profesionální přístup a prostor pro pacientovo pochopení poskytnutých informací jsou klíčové prvky péče o pacienty s dentofobií. Jeden z cílů je shromáždit dostupné poznatky edukačního procesu sester o pacienta s dentofobií. Výzkumná část práce se zaměřuje na sběr dat pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů se zubními sestrami. Otázky jsou zaměřeny na jejich zkušenosti s pacienty trpícími dentofobií, na rozpoznání této fobie a na následné intervence vhodné k podpoře pacientů. Cílem je také zmapovat prostředky, které zubní sestry využívají k edukaci pacientů. Dále identifikovat ošetřovatelské problémy v péči sestry o pacienta s dentofobií. Získaná data jsou pro větší přehlednost zpracována pomocí otevřeného kódování. Výsledky ukazují nedostatky v povědomí zubních sester o dentofobii a absenci edukačních materiálů pro sestry, aby mohly efektivně edukovat pacienty s touto fobií. Tato zjištění zdůrazňují potřebu zlepšení informovanosti sester a poskytnutí vhodných materiálů, které by jim pomohly lépe porozumět a podporovat pacienty s dentofobií. Celkově lze říci, že výzkum poskytl důležité poznatky o stavu informovanosti a dostupnosti zdrojů pro sestry, které se snaží edukovat pacienty s dentofobií.Dentophobia, known as fear of dentists, represents a common problem. For patients suffering from dentophobia, a visit to the dentist is often a source of stress and anxiety, which can lead to postponement of necessary care and deterioration of their dental condition. The theoretical part of the work deals with the issue of the origin of dentophobia, explains its etiology and reasons for its maintenance, and presents various alternative treatments. It also focuses on the importance of the nurse educator and the education process, which represents a key method for working with patients. Verbal and non-verbal communication, professional approach, and space for the patient's understanding of the provided information are key elements of care for patients with dentophobia. One of the goals is to gather available knowledge of the educational process of nurses about patients with dentophobia. The research part of the work focuses on data collection through semi-structured interviews with dental nurses. The questions are aimed at their experiences with patients suffering from dentophobia, recognizing this phobia, and subsequent interventions suitable for supporting patients. The aim is also to map out the means that denatl nurses use to educate patients. Furthermore to identify nursing problems in the care of patients with dentophobia. The collected data are processed for greater clarity using open coding. The results showed deficiencies in the awareness of dental nurses about dentophobia and the absence of educational materials for nurses to effectively educate patients with this phobia. These findings emphasize the need to improve nurses' awareness and provide suitable materials to help them better understand and support patients with dentophobia. Overall, it can be said that the research provided important insights into the state of awareness and availability of resources for nurses who are trying to educate patients with dentophobia.
