Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá sociálními sítěmi a motivací, která nabádá mladé jedince k jejich aktivnímu využívání. Hlavním cílem práce je zjistit, zda a proč mladá generace využívá sociální sítě a kdo nebo co je k tomu motivuje. V teoretické části práce je v první řadě definován pojem sociální sítě, zde jsou rozebrány jejich druhy a analyzována rizika, která mohou nastat při jejich užívání. Následně se práce zaměřuje na propojení tématu mladé generace v kontextu sociálních sítí. Tato část se rovněž věnuje i starším generacím, které se těchto platforem účastní. Poslední téma, které teoretická část akcentuje, je motivace, kde je pozornost zaměřena na faktory, jež ovlivňují mladé lidi k zapojení do online komunit a aktivní participaci na sociálních sítích. Praktická část práce popisuje samotný výzkum, jeho cíle, metodologii a výsledky. Ke zjišťování informací byla použita kvantitativní metodologie s využitím dotazníkového šetření. Výběrový soubor tvořili studenti druhého stupně základní školy v Českých Budějovicích. This bachelor thesis focuses on social networks and the motivation that encourages young individuals to actively use them. The main goal of the thesis is to determine whether and why the younger generation utilizes social networks and what motivates them to do so. The theoretical part of the thesis begins by defining the concept of social networks, examining their types, and analyzing the risks associated with their use. Subsequently, the thesis explores the connection of the young generation with social networks. This section also addresses older generations who participate in these platforms. The final topic emphasized in the theoretical part is motivation, focusing on factors influencing young people to engage in online communities and actively participate in social networks. The practical part of the thesis describes the actual research, its objectives, methodology, and results. Quantitative methodology using a questionnaire survey was employed to gather information. The sample consisted of secondary school students in České Budějovice.
