Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou vnímání digitalizace péče v kardiologii z pohledu seniorů, kteří mají implantován kardiologický implantabilní elektronický přístroj (CIEDs), a tak jsou plně součástí modernizace péče ve zdravotnictví. Implantací CIEDs každým rokem přibývá a právě senioři jsou největší skupinou pacientů, kterým je nejčastěji z této skupiny CIEDs implantován kardiostimulátor (KS) a také implantabilní kardioverter-defibrilátor (ICD). V souladu s rostoucí prevalencí CIEDs také došlo k progresivnímu vývoji v technologii vzdáleného monitorování, zvláště pak telemedicína dnes hraje klíčovou roli při sledování funkce CIEDs, a napomáhá tak modernímu zdravotnictví. V rámci výzkumného šetření byly stanoveny dva cíle. Prvním bylo zjistit, jaký mají senioři s CIEDs názor na digitalizaci péče v kardiologii. Druhým cílem bylo zmapovat znalosti seniorů s CIEDs o možnostech digitalizace péče v kardiologii. Poté byly určeny dvě výzkumné otázky. První z nich zní: Jaký názor mají senioři s CIEDs na digitalizaci péče v kardiologii? Druhá otázka je tohoto znění: Jaké jsou znalosti seniorů o digitalizaci péče v kardiologii? Výzkumného šetření se zúčastnilo 10 seniorů, kteří měli implantován KS, či ICD. Výzkumné šetření bylo prováděno kvalitativní metodou, technikou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru a bylo pomyslně rozděleno do tří kategorií. Z výzkumného šetření vyplynulo, že senioři s CIEDs si nejsou jistí v pojmech telemedicína či digitalizace. Těmto pojmům rozuměla pouze polovina dotazovaných seniorů, přičemž senioři si jsou vědomi toho, že digitalizace je pro zdravotnictví přínosná. Co se týká znalostí ohledně možností digitalizace péče v kardiologii, odpověděla pouze polovina seniorů správně. Z toho lze usoudit, že polovina seniorů si s digitalizací v kardiologii neví rady, případně si tímto pojmem nejsou jistí. This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of the perception of digitization of care in cardiology from the perspective of seniors who have been implanted with cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs) and thus represent a part of the modernization of care within the healthcare sector. The number of CIED implantations is increasing every year, and the elderly are the largest group of patients who are most often implanted with an artificial cardiac pacemaker (PM) and an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) from this group of CIEDs. In compliance with the increasing prevalence of CIEDs, there have also been a progressive development in remote monitoring technology, and particularly telemedicine nowadays plays a key role in monitoring the functions of CIEDs, thus aiding modern healthcare. Two objectives were set as part of the research. The first goal was to find out what seniors with CIEDs think about digitalization of care in cardiology. The second goal was to map the knowledge of seniors with CIEDs about the possibilities of digitizing care in cardiology. Two research questions were then defined. The first question is: What do the seniors with CIEDs think about digitalization of care in cardiology? The second question is: What is the seniors' knowledge of digitization of care in cardiology? The research was participated by 10 seniors who had been implanted with PM or ICD. The research was conducted via a qualitative method, a semi-structured interview technique, and was notionally divided into three categories. The research showed that seniors with CIEDs are uncertain when it comes to the term of telemedicine or digitalization. Only half of the interviewed seniors understood these terms, nevertheless, seniors are aware that digitization is beneficial for the healthcare sector. Only half of the seniors responded correctly with regards to the possibilities of digitizing care in cardiology. From this one can conclude that half of seniors do not know how to deal with digitization in cardiology or are uncertain with it comes to this term.
