Úvod: Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na informovanost seniorů o rizikových faktorech hypertenze. Hypertenze je jedno z nejčastějších onemocnění současné doby. Především u seniorů je důležité věnovat pozornost vysokému krevnímu tlaku, protože s věkem se zvyšuje riziko jeho výskytu. Informovanost seniorů o rizikových faktorech hypertenze je proto velmi důležitá pro udržení jejich zdraví a kvality života. Cíl: Cílem práce bylo zmapovat jaká je informovanost seniorů o rizikových faktorech hypertenze a zmapovat zda senioři dodržují správnou životosprávu. Metodika: Výzkumná část byla realizována na základě kvantitativního výzkumu s využitím techniky dotazníku. Výzkumný soubor tvořily osoby starší 65 let. Výzkum probíhal od března 2023 do dubna 2023 v Nemocnici v Českých Budějovicích na oddělení následné péče. Bylo rozdáno 80 dotazníků osobám starších 65 let, z toho byla návratnost dotazníků 67. Dotazník obsahoval otázku týkající se pohlaví respondentů, protože stanovené hypotézy se zaměřují na vliv pohlaví na výsledky studie. Výsledky: Z výsledků hodnocení vyplývá, že větší podíl žen měl lepší znalosti o rizikových faktorech hypertenze, avšak rozdíl ve srovnání s muži nebyl statisticky významný (p = 10,2 %). Dále bylo zjištěno, že rozdíl mezi muži a ženami v dodržování správné životosprávy opět nebyl statisticky významný (p = 68,4 %). Bylo zjištěno, že pohlaví respondentů nemělo výrazný vliv na jejich informovanost a dodržování správné životosprávy. Závěr: Na základě získaných výsledků byly vytvořeny grafy podrobně ilustrující vyhodnocení odpovědí respondentů. Tato práce může veřejnosti nabídnout studijní materiál týkající se této problematiky. Introduction: This bachelor thesis focuses on the awareness of seniors about the risk factors of hypertension. Hypertension is one of the most common diseases of our time. Especially in the elderly, it is important to pay attention to high blood pressure because the risk of its occurrence increases with age. Therefore, awareness of hypertension risk factors among seniors is very important to maintain their health and quality of life. Goal: The main goal of this thesis was to find out the awareness of the elderly about the risk factors of hypertension and whether the elderly follow a healthy lifestyle. Methodology: The research part was carried out on the basis of quantitative research using the questionnaire technique. The research population consisted of people over 65 years of age. The research was conducted from March 2023 to April 2023 in the Hospital in České Budějovice in the Department of Aftercare. 80 questionnaires were distributed to persons over 65 years of age, of which the return rate was 67. The questionnaire included a question regarding the gender of the respondents, as the stated hypotheses focus on the effect of gender on the study outcomes. Results: The results showed that a higher proportion of women had a better knowledge of risk factors for hypertension, but the difference was not statistically significant compared to men (p = 10.2%). It was also found that the difference between men and women in adherence to a good lifestyle was again not statistically significant (p = 68.4%). It was found that the gender of the respondents did not have a significant effect on their awareness and adherence to the healthy lifestyle. Conclusion: On the basis of the results obtained, graphs were created to illustrate in detail the evaluation of respondents' answers. This work can offer the public study material related to this issue.
