Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vybranými partiemi z maticového počtu a jejich aplikacemi. V první části práce jsou popsány základní pojmy a operace s maticemi, včetně jejich definic, vlastností, hodnosti a operací, jako je sčítání, násobení a transpozice matic. Druhá část se zaměřuje na determinanty a inverzní matice, kde jsou rozebrány metody jejich výpočtu a praktické využití. Dále je věnována pozornost lineární závislosti a nezávislosti vektorů a také problematice vlastních čísel a vlastních vektorů, včetně jejich výpočtů. V závěrečné části jsou uvedeny aplikace maticového počtu v různých oblastech matematiky a techniky, jako jsou řešení soustav lineárních rovnic a transformace vektorů. Práce si klade za cíl představit nejen teoretické základy maticového počtu, ale také demonstrovat jejich praktické aplikace v reálném světě. This bachelor's thesis deals with selected parts of matrix calculus and their applications. In the first part of the thesis, basic terms and operations with matrices are described, including their definitions, properties, rank and operations such as addition, multiplication and transposition of matrices. The second part focuses on determinants and inverse matrices, where the methods of their calculation and practical use are discussed. In addition, attention is paid to the linear dependence and independence of vectors, as well as the problem of eigenvalues and eigenvectors, including their calculations. In the final part, the applications of matrix calculus in various areas of mathematics and technology, such as solving systems of linear equations and vector transformations, are presented. The thesis aims to present not only the theoretical foundations of matrix calculus, but also to demonstrate their practical applications in the real world.
