[cze][eng] Tato diplomová práce podrobněji zkoumá problematiku sociální izolace hospitalizovaných klientů s covid-19 v období pandemie a její vliv na jejich zdraví a psychickou pohodu. Zaměřuje se na tři hlavní cíle: zmapovat vnímání pacientů sociální izolace při hospitalizaci v období pandemie, zmapovat dopad sociální izolace na hospitalizované klienty v období pandemie a zmapovat kroky, které by dle hospitalizovaných pacientů vedly ke zlepšení důsledků sociální izolace v období pandemie. Teoretická část práce poskytuje komplexní přehled o sociální izolaci a zohledňuje také potřeby pacienta a roli sestry v pandemickém prostředí. Dále zahrnuje informace o onemocnění covid-19 a pravidla ošetřovatelské péče o hospitalizované klienty. Závěrečná část teoretické části se pak věnuje intervencím a preventivním opatřením ke zmírnění sociální izolace v rámci nemocničního prostředí. Výzkumná část práce je opatřena relevantní metodikou a zaměřuje se na data získaná kvalitativní metodou, která jsou následně systematicky strukturována a kategorizována. V diskuzi jsou výsledky analyzovány, provázány s relevantními studiemi a porovnány s výsledky jiných prací. V rámci této práce jsme se zaměřili na tři výzkumné otázky, které nám pomohly dosáhnout stanovených cílů. Naše zjištění ukazují, že hospitalizovaní pacienti v období pandemie vnímali silný pocit sociální izolace. Tento pocit významně ovlivnil nejen jejich fyzický stav, ale také duševní rozpoložení. Při mapování kroků, které by podle samotných respondentů vedly ke zlepšení důsledků sociální izolace, uvedli dotázaní zásadní prvky, které by mohly přispět ke zlepšení podmínek během hospitalizace a snížit tak negativní důsledky sociální izolace. Jedinci uvedli povolení návštěv, lepší komunikaci s rodinou, podporu osobních zájmů či vytvoření programů pro pacienty v izolaci. Tato diplomová práce může přispět k lepšímu porozumění problematiky sociální izolace a sloužit jako východisko pro další výzkum a implementaci opatření k podpoře hospitalizovaných pacientů. Zároveň může přispět k lepšímu porozumění dopadů sociální izolace na zdraví a potřeby jedinců, posílení péče a podpory pro hospitalizované pacienty s covid-19 a k vytvoření citlivějšího a respektujícího prostředí ve zdravotnictví. Poskytuje také užitečné informace, které mohou vést k vylepšení podmínek během hospitalizace a snížení negativních důsledků sociální izolace.This thesis examines in more detail the issue of social isolation of hospitalized clients with covid-19 during the pandemic and its impact on their health and psychological well-being. It focuses on three main objectives: to map patients' perceptions of social isolation while hospitalized during a pandemic, to map the impact of social isolation on hospitalized clients during a pandemic, and to map the steps that hospitalized patients would lead to improving the consequences of social isolation during a pandemic. The theoretical part of the thesis provides a comprehensive overview of social isolation and also takes into account the needs of the patient and the role of the nurse in a pandemic environment. It also includes information about covid-19 disease and rules of nursing care for hospitalized clients. The final part of the theoretical section focuses on interventions and preventive measures to alleviate social isolation within the hospital setting. The research part of the thesis is provided with relevant methodology and focuses on the data obtained by qualitative method, which are then systematically structured and categorized. In the discussion, the results are analyzed, linked to relevant studies and compared with the results of other works. In this paper, we focused on three research questions that helped us achieve our objectives. Our findings show that hospitalized patients perceived a strong sense of social isolation during the pandemic. This feeling significantly affected not only their physical condition but also their mental well-being. When mapping the steps that hospitalized patients themselves believed would lead to improving the consequences of social isolation, the interviewees mentioned essential elements that could contribute to improving conditions during hospitalization and thus reduce the negative consequences of social isolation. Individuals mentioned allowing visitors, better communication with family, support for personal interests or the creation of programs for patients in isolation. This thesis can contribute to a better understanding of this issue and can serve as a starting point for further research and implementation of measures to support hospitalized patients. At the same time, this thesis can contribute to a better understanding of the impact of social isolation on the health and needs of individuals, to strengthen care and support for hospitalized covid-19 patients, and to create a more sensitive and respectful healthcare environment. It also provides useful information that can lead to improved conditions during hospitalization and a reduction in the negative consequences of social isolation.
