eng Abstract:
[eng][cze] For Eugen Fink, the concept of the world plays a crucial role throughout his philosophical career. The aim of the present thesis is to establish the vicissitudes of the world-concept in Fink's early philosophy, broadly matching with the time he spent as Edmund Husserl's assistant in Freiburg. Relying primarily on Fink's working notes, an effort is undertaken to reconstrue Fink's own position in a constant critical dialogue with not only Husserl, but also with the likes of Heidegger, Kant, or Hegel. Especially over the second half of the thesis, Martin Heidegger emerges as Fink's main partner and likewise the main target of Fink's criticism. Attempting to read Fink's world-concept primarily as a response to Heidegger against the backdrop of the latter's philosophy, the thesis proceeds towards Fink's meontic phenomenology as a medium only through which the transcendence proper and consequently the world itself become appropriately thematizable.
