cze Abstract:
The main part of this these is 25-minute-long radio documentary focused on the daily life of animal shelter workers and volunteers. Animal shelters often face financial and staff problems. Working in such a facility is mentally and physically demanding and requires a love for animals. The testimonies of the shelter's employees and volunteers serve in the documentary as a testimony about the problems of their functioning. The radio documentary is based on the testimonies of these employees and is also supplemented by stories of the adoptive family and professionals associated to animal shelter. To obtain information, I will use professional literature and publicly available sources, but above all interviews with the aforementioned individuals, which were conducted solely for the purpose of this bachelor's thesis.
