Abstract: Christology in the Works of Cardinal Ján Chrysostom Korec This bachelor thesis deals with the christological analysis of the literary work of cardinal John Chrysostom Korec. Christology is a part of dogmatic theology which, through Christological reflection, becomes the source and life of the Christian faith. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and research. The first part deals with the description of the context of the times in which cardinal Korec lived a significant part of his life and which influenced his work. In this part, the thesis presents a brief biography of cardinal Korec, including a short description of his literary works. This section is enriched by a brief overview of his work and the awards that John Ch. Korec received during his lifetime. The second part provides an overview and characterization of the Christological titles used by J. Ch. Korec in his work. Subsequently, the bachelor's thesis focuses on cardinal Korec's conception of the Incarnation and his grasp and interpretation of the mystery of the Messiah. The last part of the Christological analysis is a brief characterization of the theology of the cross and resurrection in Korec's work.
