Bakalářská práce se zabývá sociálními specifikami trans* žen, které vykazují genderovou identitu, která může být v rozporu se společenskými genderovými očekáváními ohledně dvou oddělených a protikladných kategorií žen a mužů. Genderová identita je součástí sociální identity každého jedince, který se k ní vztahuje skrze dělání genderu. Trans* ženy se tak ocitají ve specifické situaci strategického rozhodování ohledně dělání feminity ve fungujícím genderovém uspořádání. Práce k vystižení tohoto strategického rozhodování jednak využívá koncept strategic outness, který otevírá téma sociálních faktorů ovlivňující otevřenost ohledně trans* genderové identity, ale také staví na specifikách dělání feminity, která v hierarchickém genderovém uspořádání figuruje jako podřízená maskulinitě. Cílem práce je přiblížit aspekty ovlivňující přijetí a otevřenost trans* žen ohledně svého genderu v různých sociálních kontextech a zjistit, jak se podle toho, jak se k těmto různým sociálním kontextům vztahují, liší jejich strategie dělání feminity. Empirická část vychází z analýzy šesti hloubkových rozhovorů s trans* ženami různého věku, jejichž pojítkem byly zkušenosti s pracovním prostředím. This bachelor's thesis explores the social specifies of trans* women, whose gender identity may contrast with gender expectations of two seperate and opposing categories of women and men. Gender identity is part of every individual's social identity, communicated through how they do gender. Trans* women thus may be situated in a specific situation of strategic decision- making about doing femininity in a functioning gender arrangement. The paper uses the concept of strategic outness to capture this strategic identity managment, which raises the issue of social factors influencing outness about trans* gender identity, but also builds on the specificities of doing femininity, which occurs as subordinate to masculinity in a hierarchical gender order. The aim of the paper is to approach the aspects that influence trans* women's acceptance and outness about their gender in different social contexts and to explore how their strategies of doing femininity differ according to how they interpret these different social contexts. The empirical part is based on the analysis of six in-depth interviews with trans* women of different ages, who are connected by their experiences in the workplace.
