Práce se zaměřuje na rozdílné politiky nynějších vládních stran a opozice ve věcech týkajících se důchodové reformy. Autor podrobně představil fungování důchodového systému obecně prostřednictvím tří již známých schémat, tato schémata jsou: Beveridgeův a Bismarcův model, dvou složkové schéma dle Organizace pro hospodářskou spolupráci a vývoj a třípilířové schéma. Tří pilířové schéma je autorem využíváno pro definice systémů následně v celé práci. Autor dále představil fungování důchodového systému konkrétně v rámci České republiky, společně s jeho vývojem a podrobným rozborem změn provedených či plánovaných nynější vládou Petra Fialy. Také se blíže zaměřil na fungování důchodových systémů ve vybraných zemích. Tyto příklady se přesněji zaměřují na tři evropské státy: Nizozemí, Německo a Švédsko. Výzkum se zaobírá komparací jednotlivých politických stran na základě kódů, které byly definovány autorem ze získaných dat extrahovaných z rozhovorů s jednotlivými politickými aktéry. Hlavním zjištěním práce je odkrytí rozdílů v pohledech a přístupech analyzovaných politických stran k problematice důchodové reformy. Práce za zabývá společensky, mediálně a politologicky atraktivním tématem, které umožňuje nespočet dalších výzkumů, jak je mimo jiné v textu zmíněno. The thesis focuses on the different policies of current government parties and the opposition regarding pension reform. The author extensively introduced the functioning of the pension system generally through three well-known schemes: the Beveridge and Bismarck models, the two-component scheme according to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, and the three-pillar scheme. The three-pillar scheme is used by the author to define systems throughout the thesis. The author further presented the functioning of the pension system specifically within the Czech Republic, along with its development and a detailed analysis of changes made or planned by the current government under Petr Fiala. They also examined the functioning of pension systems in selected countries, specifically focusing on three European states: the Netherlands, Germany, and Sweden. The research involves comparing individual political parties based on codes defined by the author from data extracted from interviews with various political actors. The main finding of the thesis is the uncovering of differences in perspectives and approaches of the analyzed political parties to the issue of pension reform.
