Diplomová práce Komparace použitých argumentů kampaně "Vote Leave" s reálným ekonomickým vývojem po brexitu se zabývá porovnáním argumentů hlavních představitelů kampaně "Vote Leave" mezi lety 2015 a 2016 s reálným ekonomickým vývojem po brexitu v letech 2020 až 2023. Nabízí tak další pohled na tak velmi komplexní a unikátní téma, jako je vystoupení členského státu z Evropské unie. Práce je rozdělená do šesti celků: první se zabývá teoretickými východisky, a to především mezinárodní politickou ekonomií a racionalismem. Navazuje na ni metodologická část, která blíže představuje obsahovou a komparativní analýzu. Třetí části je obsáhlý přehled literatury, na který nazuje krátký historický exkurz ke členství Spojeného království v EU. Hlavní část práce se pak věnuje samotné analýze argumentů představitelů "Vote Leave" a jejich následné agregaci a komparaci s reálným ekonomickým vývojem, pozornost je věnována především vývoji hrubého domácího produktu Spojeného království a mezinárodnímu obchodu. Na závěr je zodpovězená výzkumná otázka a vyhodnocena stanovená hypotéza. The diploma thesis Comparison of the arguments used by the "Vote Leave" campaign with the real economic development after Brexit deals with the comparison of the arguments used by the representatives of the "Vote Leave" campaign between 2015 and 2016 with the real economic development after Brexit in 2020-2023. It offers another perspective on such complex and unique topic as the withdrawal of a member state from the European Union. The thesis is divided into six units: the first deals with the theoretical background, namely international political economy, and rationalism. This is followed by a methodological part, which presents used content and comparative analysis. The third part is a comprehensive literature review, followed by a brief historical excursus on the UK's membership of the European Union. The main part of the thesis then focuses on the analysis of the arguments of "Vote Leave" representatives themselves and their subsequent aggregation and comparison with the real economic developments, with particular attention paid to the development of the UK's gross domestic product and international trade. Finally, the research question is answered and the stated hypothesis is evaluated.
