Tato bakalářská práce je založena na rešerši odborné literatury na téma amoniak (NH3) jako významná látka přispívající k suché atmosférické depozici dusíku. Práce shromažďuje dosavadní poznatky o NH3 a jeho roli při znečištění životního prostředí. Zabývá se otázkou, do jaké míry ovlivňuje amoniak suchou atmosférickou depozici dusíku. V první části práce pojednává o emisních zdrojích amoniaku a jeho chování v atmosféře, tedy o jeho chemických přeměnách, době setrvání v atmosféře i způsobu depozice. Dále popisuje dopady atmosférické depozice amoniaku na ekosystémy, ať už jde o eutrofizaci vod, acidifikaci půd, poškozování nadzemních i podzemních částí rostlin či narušení biodiverzity ve vodních i terestrických ekosystémech. Práce poukazuje na stagnující, v některých částech světa dokonce rychle rostoucí emise amoniaku. Amoniak nemá legislativně zakotvený imisní limit, jeho depoziční toky tedy nejsou pravidelně sledovány v národních monitorovacích sítích. Autorka se snaží argumentačně podpořit názor, že by amoniak měl být zařazen do seznamu látek znečišťujících ovzduší s imisním limitem. Klíčová slova: NH3, atmosférická depozice, emisní zdroje, suchá atmosférická depozice, časové trendy, ekosystémy This bachelor thesis is based on a literature review on the topic of ammonia (NH3) as a significant contributor to the dry atmospheric deposition of nitrogen. The thesis gathers existing knowledge about NH3 and its role in environmental pollution. It addresses the extent of the extent to which ammonia influences dry atmospheric nitrogen deposition. The first part of the thesis discusses the emission sources of ammonia and its behavior in the atmosphere, including its chemical transformations, residence time in the atmosphere, and deposition mechanisms. It also describes the impacts of atmospheric ammonia deposition on ecosystems, whether it is eutrophication of water bodies, soil acidification, damage to aboveground and underground parts of plants, or disruption of biodiversity in aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. The thesis highlights stagnant, and in some parts of the world, rapidly increasing ammonia emissions. Ammonia does not have a legislatively established immission limit, so its deposition fluxes are not regularly monitored in national monitoring networks. The author attempts to argue that ammonia should be included in the list of air pollutants with an immission limit.
