Tato diplomová práce pomocí diskurzivní analýzy vybraných médií a legislativních zdrojů zkoumá postavení LGBTQ lidí ve vybraných státech střední Evropy. Práce zkoumá vývoj právního postavení LGBTQ lidí v jednotlivých státech, dále se práce zabývá otázkou vlivu fantomové hranice Železné opony na situaci LGBTQ lidí v jednotlivých státech. Provedeným výzkumem bylo zjištěno, že v posledních deseti letech došlo ve střední Evropě jak ke zlepšení, tak ale i zhoršení právního postavení LGBTQ lidí. Mezi lety 2014 až 2024 došlo v Německu, Rakousku a Slovinsku k zavedení manželství stejnopohlavních párů, český parlament přijal v roce 2024 novelu občanského zákoníku, která k 1. lednu 2025 zavádí partnerství stejnopohlavních párů, které jim zaručí více práv, částečně i práva rodičovská. Zavedení obdoby registrovaného partnerství se po změně vlády očekává v Polsku. Maďarsko je státem, který v uplynulých deseti letech prováděl silně restriktivní politiku vůči LGBTQ lidem. Situace na Slovensku se i po teroristickém útoku v Bratislavě dále zhoršovala. Dále bylo zjištěno, že fantomová hranice bývalé Železné opony má obrovskou diskurzivní sílu v otázce práv LGBTQ osob, její reálný vliv na tuto otázku je však minimální. Mnohem silnější reálný vliv na postavení LGBTQ lidí má fantomová hranice, která vznikla při dělení... This thesis analyses the status of LGBTQ people in selected Central European countries through a discursive analysis of selected media and legislative sources. The thesis examines the development of the legal status of LGBTQ people in each state, and it also addresses the question of the impact of the phantom Iron Curtain border on the situation of LGBTQ people in each state. Through the research conducted, it has been found that in the last ten years there has been both an improvement and a deterioration in the legal status of LGBTQ people in Central Europe. Between 2014 and 2024, same-sex marriage was introduced in Germany, Austria and Slovenia, and the Czech Parliament adopted an amendment to the Civil Code in 2024, which will introduce same-sex partnerships on 1 January 2025, guaranteeing more rights for same-sex couples, including, in part, parental rights. The introduction of a similar registered partnership is expected in Poland after the change of government. Hungary is a country that has pursued a highly restrictive policy towards LGBTQ people over the past decade. The situation in Slovakia continued to deteriorate after the terrorist attack in Bratislava.
