This final thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a device for demonstrating signal synthesis within the teaching of Signal Analysis and Systems. The device aims to enable students to experiment with the synthesis of periodic signals, specifically square, sawtooth, and triangular waves, by gradually adding higher harmonic components. The device is designed with an emphasis on simple operation and the widespread availability of components to make it suitable for teaching in the following years. The implementation includes the selection of the ATmega328 microcontroller, the MCP4921 digital-to-analog converter, and a fourth-order Butterworth reconstruction filter.
