Sprejovým sušením byly z různě koncentrované suspenze vytvořeny pevné částice, které byly dále hodnoceny, aby se posoudily jejich vlastnosti. Vytvořená suspenze obsahovala kromě chitosanu 20, 30, 40 nebo 50 mg meloxikamu a laurylsíran sodný jako tenzid a následně byla sušena při teplotě 170 řC, 190 řC nebo 210 řC. Připravené částice byly hodnoceny optickým mikroskopem a skenovacím elektronovým mikroskopem (SEM). Dále se pomocí disoluce hodnotila rychlost a množství uvolněného léčiva a pomocí diferenciální skenovací kalorimetrie (DSC) byly hodnoceny tepelné vlastnosti částic. Dle výsledků z optického mikroskopu a SEM se ukázalo, že částice vzorků tvořily shluky z jednotlivých částic a na snímcích byly vidět nepravidelné tvary. Na povrchu destičkovitých částic chitosanu byly viditelné malé částice meloxikamu. Nebyl prokázaný zásadní vliv teploty sušení ani změny koncentrace na vzhled částic. By spray drying, solid particles were formed from the suspensions of various drug concentration, which were further evaluated to assess their properties. The formed suspensions contained, in addition to chitosan, 20, 30, 40 or 50 mg of meloxicam and sodium lauryl sulphate as surfactant and were subsequently dried at 170 řC, 190 řC or 210 řC. The prepared particles were evaluated using an optical microscope and a scanning electron microscope (SEM). Furthermore, the rate and amount of released active substance were evaluated by dissolution, and the thermal properties of the particles were evaluated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). According to the results from the optical microscope and SEM, it was shown that the particles of the spray-dried samples formed clusters of individual particles and irregular shapes can be seen in the images.
