Cílem práce je navrhnout bytový dům, který obstojí v průběhu času nejen udržením podoby a funkce, ale také vytvořením orientačního bodu na spojnici Otrokovice - Zlín. Hlavním tématem návrhu je tedy životnost stavby. Navržený dům se nachází v okrajové části Zlína – Malenovicích na parcele, kde v současné době funguje pila. Životnost stavby je dosažena ve třech různých rovinách – technické životnosti, ekonomické životnosti a z hlediska životního stylu, módnosti a společenské situace. Výraznými prvky jsou konzervativní forma budovy a cihlové fasády. The aim of the thesis is to design a residential building that will stand the test of time not only by maintaining its form and function but also by creating a landmark on the line between Otrokovice and Zlín. The main theme of the design is therefore the longevity of the building. The proposed house is located on the outskirts of Zlín - Malenovice on a plot where a sawmill currently operates. The longevity of the building is achieved in three different dimensions - technical lifespan, economic lifespan, and in terms of lifestyle, fashion, and social situation. Key elements include a conservative building form and brick facades.
