Predmetom bakalárskej práce je navrhnúť polyfunkčný objekt v samotnom centre mesta Brna. Návrh pracuje s nárožným pozemkom obklopeným mestskou štruktúrovanou zástavbou s historickými objektmi. Hmotové riešenie reaguje na výškové členenie susedných objektov tak aby vznikali priehľady na Katedrálu sv. Petra a Pavla a susedný objekt Malá Amerika. Nárožný čiastočne deväťpodlažný objekt ukončuje uličnú čiaru a vytvára orientačný prvok v meste. Zároveň plní funkciu hlukovej bariéry. Nízka štvorpodlažná budova uzatvára prieluku a výškovo prepája Malú Ameriku s novovzniknutým verejným priestorom medzi budovami v tichšom prostredí. The subject of the bachelor thesis is to design a multifunctional building in the very center of Brno. The proposal involves working with a corner plot surrounded by urban structured development with historical buildings. The massing solution responds to the height articulation of adjacent structures to create clear views of the St. Peter and Paul Cathedral and the adjacent object, Little America. The partially nine-story corner building concludes the street line and serves as an orienting element in the city while also acting as a noise barrier. The low four-story building closes the gap and, in terms of height, connects Little America with the newly formed public space between the buildings in a quieter environment.
