Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá úlohou vitaminu D v lidském těle ve vztahu k osteoporóze. Vitamin D je nezbytný pro metabolismus kostí a funkci imunitního systému. Nedostatek vitaminu D, známý jako hypovitaminóza D, může vést k různým zdravotním problémům, včetně osteoporózy, která se vyznačuje oslabením kostí a zvýšeným rizikem zlomenin. Tato práce se zaměřuje na porovnání hladin vitaminu D relativně zdravých pacientů a pacientů s osteoporózou a zkoumá možné souvislosti mezi těmito skupinami a výskytem tohoto onemocnění. This bachelor thesis deals with the role of vitamin D in the human body in the context of osteoporosis. Vitamin D is crucial for bone metabolism and immune function. Vitamin D deficiency, called hypovitaminosis D, can lead to various health problems, including osteoporosis, characterized by weakened bones and increased risk of fractures. This paper focuses on a comparison of vitamin D levels between screened patients and patients with osteoporosis, examining possible associations between these levels and the incidence of the disease.
