Cílem bakalářské práce je důkladně posoudit ekonomickou výkonnost podniku v cestovním ruchu, respektive podniku v hotelnictví s ohledem na využitelnost cizího kapitálu, a to pomocí finanční analýzy. První část práce poskytuje teoretická východiska obsahující popis kapitálové struktury. Součástí je také charakteristika tohoto odvětí. Dále definuje finanční analýzu a její metody. V praktické části je nejprve představen vybraný podnik Hotel Srní na Šumavě a poté je provedena analýza kapitálové struktury vybraného podniku a je zhodnocena jeho ekonomická výkonnost. Hlavní metody použité pro zjištění finanční situace společnosti jsou vertikální a horizontální analýza, analýza poměrových ukazatelů a souhrnných ukazatelů. V neposlední řadě je provedeno vyhodnocení vazeb mezi ekonomickou výkonnosti a kapitálovou strukturu. Dále je podnik porovnán s konkurencí na základě ukazatele rentability. V závěrečné části jsou shrnuty výsledky analýzy a formulována doporučení pro budoucí rozvoj podniku. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to thoroughly assess the economic performance of a company in the tourism industry, or company in the hotel industry with regard to usability of foreign capital, using financial analysis. The first part of the thesis contains the theoretical background containing a description of the capital structure. Then includes a characterisation of the industry. It also defines financial analyses and its methods. Furthermore, the selected enterprise Hotel Srní in Šumava is first introduced and then the capital structure of this enterprise is analysed and its economic performance is evaluated. The main methods used for detection of the financial situation of the company are vertical and horizontal analysis, analysis of ratios and summary ratios. Then, the links between economic performance and capital structure are evaluated and the enterprise is compared with its competitors on the basis of profitability ratios. In conclusion, the results of the analysis are summarized and recommendations for the future development of the enterprise are formulated.
