Hlavním cílem práce je vysvětlit pojmy autorita v rodině, výchova u rodin a její styly. Snažím se naznačit, jak autorita a výchova dítěte může pomoci, či ublížit dítěti v jeho samotném vývoji a jak se může odrazit v jeho samotném chování. Práce je složena z teoretické a praktické části, přičemž teoretická část se dělí na dvě hlavní kapitoly, a to Autorita, Výchovné styly rodičů. Praktická část je zaměřena na kvantitativní výzkum realizovaný metodou dotazníkového šetření. V dotazníku se zabývám tématem Rodič a autorita, kdy se snažím pomocí otázek přicházet na to, jak v dnešní době respondenti přemýšlí o autoritě a chování svých rodičů (těch, kteří je vychovali). The main aim of the thesis is to explain the concept of authority in the family, paren-ting in families and its styles. I am trying to suggest how authority and parenting can help or hurt a child with the child's development and the child's behavior itself. The thesis is composed of theoretical and practical part, where in the theoretical part it is divided into two main chapters namely authority, parenting. The practical part is fo-cused on the research investigation by the method of quantitative questionnaire. In the questionnaire I deal with the topic of parent and authority, where I try to find out by questions how nowadays respondents think about the authority and behaviour of their parents (those who raised them).
