Úkolem práce je přiblížit možnosti moderního slévárenství a dokázat, že toto odvětví průmyslu již dávno neznamená pouze výrobu hrubých odlitků, které bývaly výsledkem zdlouhavých výrobních procesů a testování nových forem. Proto je práce zaměřena zejména na možnosti technologií Rapid Prototyping (RP) a přesného lití, které nejen samy o sobě, ale především svojí kombinací otevírají zcela nové možnosti a udávají slévárenství úplně jiný směr. The objective of this thesis is to close the possibilities of modern foundry industry and demonstrate that nowadays it isn’t only about production of inaccurate casts, which were products of a lengthy industrial processes and testing of the new casting moulds. So that the thesis is concentrate on possibilities of the Rapid Prototyping Technologies and investment casting, because especially combination of them gets a new possibilities and direction to the modern foundry industry.
