Úkolem této diplomové práce je navrhnout rekonstrukci železniční stanice Svitavy. Cílem rekonstrukce je zvýšit traťovou rychlost v hlavních kolejích ze stávající rychlosti na rychlost 160 km·h-1. Dalšími požadavky pro vypracování jsou plná peronizace stanice a další nezbytné úpravy s tím související, zejména návrh pražcového podloží, odvodnění stanice a přilehlých dotčených úseků trati. Z důvodů změny počtu kolejí a jejich poloh byla také ověřena možnost prodloužení užitečných délek hlavních a prvních předjízdných kolejí na délku 740 m. The goal of this thesis was to design the reconstruction of the railway station Svitavy. The line speed was rised from the current value to 160 km·h-1. New platforms were designed, therefore the railway substructure and the drainage were adjusted accordingly. Also, the effective length of the main tracks was extended to 740 m.
