Metoda rentgenové fluorescenční spektroskopie je využívána pro rozpoznání prvků obsažených v plynných, kapalných nebo pevných látkách, včetně jejich hmotnostních poměrů. Analýza je založena na specifičnosti sekundárního záření, jež jednotlivé prvky vydávají, umožňující jejich rozeznání. Distinkci jednotlivých záření lze přirovnat k otiskům prstů. Kromě kvalitativních a kvantitativních možností lze také metodu využít k měření tloušťky kovů a slitin. Laboratorní analýza má oproti přenosným zařízením, která jsou rovněž dostupná, širší možnosti využití. Měření v laboratorním prostředí je realizováno dvěma metodami – vlnově disperzní fluorescenční spektrometrií – WDXRF, a energo disperzní fluorescenční spektrometrií – EDXRF. V praktické části diplomové práce byl měřen mosazný vzorek s příměsí olova prostřednictvím metody EDXRF. K analýze bylo použito nové rentgenové zařízení firmy Leybold, které bude sloužit k výuce nižších ročníků vysoké školy. V rámci diplomové práce pak bylo připraveno měřící pracoviště a laboratorní úloha, jejíž cílem bylo zjistit hmotnostní podíly prvků obsažených ve vzorku slitiny mosazi. The fluorescence spectroscopy method is used to distinguish components in gas, liquid, or solid samples. The study is based on the parameters of secondary radiation, which is emitted by each element and allows them to be identified. The distinction between each radiation is analogous to a fingerprint. Apart from quantitative and qualitative analyses, the method can be used to determine the thickness of metal layers and alloys. Laboratory analysis has a broader range of application than portable devices, which are also available. In the laboratory, two methods of measurement are available: wavelength dispersive fluorescence spectroscopy – WDXRF and energo dispersive fluorescence spectroscopy – EDXRF. A brass sample with lead additive was analyzed using EDXRF in the practical part of this diploma thesis. An X-ray apparatus from the Leybold company was employed for the analysis, which will be used for education of lower grades at the university. A measurement station and a laboratory assignment were developed as part of the thesis, the aim of which will be to determine the chemical composition of a brass sample using the X-ray fluorescence method.
