Tato diplomová práce se zabývá přehledem nejznámějších metod pro automatické rozpoznávání osob podle jejich tváře. Jsou v ní popsané jejich výhody i nevýhody. Tato práce je zaměřená zejména na holistické metody rozpoznávání pracující s 2D snímky osob. Byl implementován systém pro automatickou identifikaci osob podle digitálního snímku tváře. V tomto systému byly využity metody KNN (K-tý nejbližší soused), PCA (Analýza hlavních komponent) a LDP (Lineární diskriminační projekce). Po jejich implementaci byly provedeny důkladné testy, aby bylo možné jednotlivé metody mezi sebou porovnat. Testy byly provedeny na testovacích datech využívajících datovou sadu FERET. V závěru práce jsou zdhodnoceny jednotlivé přístupy a určena nejlepší metoda z implementovaných metod z pohledu úspěšnosti při rozpoznávání. This master's thesis is about the most known methods for face recognition. There are described their advantages and disadvantages. This work is specialized at holistic methods for face recognition, which are working with 2D pictures of people. I implemented the automatic system for face recognition according to digital picture of face. There was, in this system, implemented these methods: KNN (K nearest neighbour), PCA (Principal component analysis) and LDP (Linear doscriminant projection). There was done some tests to compare implemented methods. The tests was done on the pictures from dataset FERET. In the conclusion of this text are considered implemented approaches and is marked the best method for face recognition from implemented.
