Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je rešeršní studie a shrnutí dosavadních poznatků v oboru plynových ložisek. Tato ložiska se v poslední době používají stále častěji a své uplatnění nalézají především u vysokootáčkových strojů, u kterých není možné použití běžných ložisek. The main objective of the bachelor thesis is to write a research study and summarize existing knowledge in the field of air bearings. These bearings are being used more often recently, especially in high speed machines, because conventional bearings are not suitable for these machines.
