Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na popis okolností vedoucích ke vzniku kosmického odpadu. Popisuje jeho základní charakteristiky. Uvádí aktuální počet odpadu v kosmickém prostoru a vyhodnocuje další nárůst počtu objektů v blízké budoucnosti. Dále se zabývá způsoby měření množství těles na oběžných drahách Země. Analyzuje možnosti likvidace kosmického odpadu a celkově hodnotí možnosti řešení tohoto problému, které by mohly být reálné v blízké i vzdálenější budoucnosti. Bachelor's thesis is describing the circumstances leading to an emergence of cosmic waste. It describes its basic characteristics and indicates the current number of waste in outer space and also analyzes further increase in the number of objects in the near future. It also deals with ways of measuring an amount of small particles on orbit and analyzes the possibility of cosmic waste disposal which could be realistic in the near and distant future.
