Komunikační manuál analyzuje v podmínkách statutárního města Brna výchozí stav a představuje konkrétní návrhy, jak správně komunikovat veřejné stavební investice města s důrazem na participativní pojetí veřejné správy. Dokument se tak může stát vodítkem pro výkon určitých částí agendy obecní samosprávy města Brna na úrovni Magistrátu i městských částí. Inženýrské stavby jsou typické svou relativně vysokou finanční zátěží pro veřejné rozpočty, komplikovaností realizace a tím, že po ukončení realizace nemusí být pro občany viditelné. Proto se stávají terčem kontroverze. Správně koncipovaná komunikace o těchto tématech s občany má potenciál zvýšit efektivitu veřejných investic. The objective of the communication manual is to analyze the initial situation in case of the statutory city of Brno and to present specific proposals on how to effectively communicate public construction investments of the city, with a focus on a participatory approach to public administration. The document can serve as a guide for the execution of certain parts of the municipal self-government agenda for the city of Brno at the level of the City Hall and municipal districts. Engineering projects are characterized by their relatively high financial burden on public budgets, the complexity of implementation, and the fact that they often remain invisible to citizens after completion. As a result, they become subjects of controversy. Well-conceived communication on these topics with citizens has the potential to increase the efficiency of public investments.
