Z náměstí vyhrazeného pro radnici se naskýtá unikátní výhled na Lužánecký park, Arboretum Mendlovy university a vůbec velkou část města Brna. Kolem jihozápadní hrany náměstí prochází trasa tramvaje, která zde má umístěnou i zastávku. Tento tramvajový pás je vložen do pásu zeleně, který tvoří filtr od třídy gen. Píky. Jihovýchodní hrana náměstí přiléhá k ulici Provazníkova a je na ní umístěna zastávka trolejbusu. Jinak je náměstí lemováno obchodními a kancelářskými budovami. Radnice je umístěna v severovýchodní části náměstí, tak aby nezastínila výhled z osy ulice Krkoškova. Pří návrhu radnice jsem vycházel z předpokladu, že by měla být co nejjednodušší a nejpřehlednější, tak aby do sebe přepsala to co se děje uvnitř i navenek. Proto jsem zvolil jako její půdorysný tvar čtverec. Do něj jsem vložil další drobné prosvětlující atrium ve tvaru čtverce. Toto řešení jsem poté obalil do jednoduché fasády s jasným rastrem. Ten jsem poté dle potřeby zvýšil abych vyzvednul důležitost vnitřních prostor. Around the southwestern edge of the square goes through the tram route, that there has also placed a stop. The tram strip is inserted into the green belt, which forms a filter of class gene. Peaks. Town Hall is located in the northeastern part of the square so that overshadow the view from the street Krkoškova axis. When I draft Hall based on the assumption that it should be as simple and most transparent, so that by himself rewrote what is happening inside and out. That's why I chose it as its top square shape. In it, I put a little more illuminating atrium in the shape of a square. This solution, I then wrapped into a simple facade with a clear grid. That I then increased as needed to pick up the importance of the interior.
