Keywords: independent device for feeding filaments in the best possible quality to multiple printers at the same time. The feeding of the filaments is solved by means of a belt feeder. The speed and direction of filament feeding is controlled by a system of motors and potentiometers. The result is a functional prototype of a multi-material feeder with an automatic detection system of the filament taken by the printer. The belt feeder allows the introduction of filaments of various diameters without the need for adjustments. The device is suitable for companies using multiple printers and thus facilitate the distribution and storage of material. The device has the potential in conjunction with Industry 4.0.; This work deal with the issue of storage and distribution of filament in FDM printers.
