Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou totální endoprotézy kolenního kloubu. Popisuje historický vývoj z hlediska konstrukčních typů a materiálů používaných k výrobě. Charakterizuje jednotlivé materiály se zaměřením na mechanické vlastnosti. V práci je provedena deformačně napěťová analýza metodou konečných prvků s použitím softwaru ANSYS v rámci vyšetření příčin selhání TEP. The Bachelor thesis deals with total knee arthroplasty. Describes the historical development from the view of the structural types and materials used in manufacturing. It characterizes various materials, focusing on mechanical properties. The thesis involves strain - stress analysis by finite element method using ANSYS software in the examination of the causes of knee joint replacement failure.
