Práce se zaměřuje na problematiku přímých zahraničních investic a jejich determinant v České republice. Vymezuje jejich základní formy, předpoklady pro vznik a historii. Pomocí praktického ekonometrického modelu a jeho odhadu metodou nejmenších čtverců a fixních a náhodných efektů hledá na základě získaných panelových dat faktory, které mají vliv na rozhodování zahraničních investorů v českém zpracovatelském průmyslu. The thesis focuses on the issue of foreign direct investments and their determinants in the Czech Republic. It shows their basic forms, prerequisites of their creation and history. It is searching for factors, which influence foreign investors in Czech manufacturing industry, using econometric model on gathered panel data and its estimation with OLS, fixed and random effects.
