Hlavním tématem bakalářské práce je teorie a analýza veřejného prostoru. Zabývá se analýzou trendů a forem veřejného prostoru a jeho rozborem. Práce začíná základní charakteristikou zvoleného města Nový Jičín, jeho vymezením a historií. Následuje teoretický výklad, který je založen na principech a myšlenkách dánského architekta a urbanisty Jana Gehla a českého architekta a urbanisty Jana Jehlíka. Teorie podle Jana Jehlíka pojednává o komplexním pojetí přístupu k urbanistickým úkolům, kdy řeší celou škálu činností, resp. formy veřejného prostoru. Tato část je zaměřena na formy a typy prostorů. Dalším tématem je analýza trendů živého, bezpečného a udržitelného města postavena na fyzickém vnímání veřejného prostoru s důrazem na jeho psychické vnímání člověka, který se v prostoru nachází. Tato část teorie je opřena o myšlenky Jana Gehla. Praktickou částí jsou analýzy zvoleného veřejného prostoru Masarykova náměstí v Novém Jičíně. Cílem analýz je zhodnocení současného stavu a kvality života. Analýzy se skládají z jednotlivých částí jako širší vztahy prostoru a jeho návaznost v rámci jeho umístění ve městě, funkční analýza a míra občanské vybavenosti, analýza dopravy, zeleně, hraničních linií, výškového stupně zástavby a analýza aktivit. Posledním tématem je návrh pro zkvalitnění života města, který řeší zlepšení podmínek městské zeleně a pohybu lidí v Žerotínském parku.
The main topic of this bachelor thesis is teory and analysis of public space. This work deals with analysis of trends and public space which i salso analyzed. This thesis begins with fundamental characteristics of Nový Jičín, it’s area and history. This characteristics is followed by theory based on thoughts and principes of Danish architect and urbanist Jan Gehl and Czech architect and urbanist Jan Jehlík. Jehlík’s theory deals with complex approach to tasks of an urbanism that deals with whole spectrum of forms of public spaces. This part is focused on form and types of places. Next topic is analysis of trends of living, secure, and sustainable city built on physical perception of public space, with emphasis on psychical perception of a human located on it. This part is based on ideas of Jan Gehl. Practical part of this thesis are analyzes of Masaryk’s square in Nový Jičín. The main goal of these analyzes is evaluation of the square’s actual condition and quality of life. Analyzes consist of individual parts such as broader relations of the space and it’s continuity in terms of it’s city layout, functional analysis and a level of civil.
