Práce se zaobírá problematikou „brownfield“ a jejich regenerací. Je rozdělená na dvě části a to na teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny ukazatele zhodnocení ekonomické efektivnosti, základní ekonomické pojmy týkající se téma práce a základní informace ohledem brownfieldů a jejich dělení. V praktické časti je na konkrétní případové studii brownfieldu elektrárny v centru města Žilina zhodnocené ekonomické využití regenerace těchto budov pro rezidenční účely. Cílem práce je posoudit, zda je regenerace konkrétního brownfieldu ekonomicky efektivní. Při posouzení ekonomické efektivnosti jsou provedené víceré alternativy možného zhodnocení prostorů. Každá alternativa je podrobně rozpracována a následně jsou vyhodnocené jejich efektivity. Thesis deals with issue of „brownfields“ and their regeneration. The work is splitted into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part contains assessment indicators for economic efficiency of investments, basic economic terms, relative to theme of the thesis and basic information about brownfields and their dividing. The practical part contains valorization of economical utilization on the study case of brownfield power plant in the Žilina city centre, for residential purposes. The aim of this thesis is to assess, if is the regeneration of this specific brownfield economically effective. In the arbitration of economic efficiency is used several possible alternatives of valorization for the residential rooms. Every alternative is worked out in details and thereafter they effectiveness is evaluated.
