Předmětem zájmu této bakalářské práce je areál textilní továrny Modeta v Jihlavě, který přímo sousedí se zoologickou zahradou. Lokalita Stříbrného údolí okolo řeky Jihlavy nedaleko historického jádra města má velký potenciál rozvoje. V urbanistické části se práce zabývá zatraktivněním prostoru pro obyvatele města i návštěvníky, prostupností celého území a vhodným napojením na okolí. Z architektonické části pak řeší návrh polyfunkčního společenského centra pro místní i turisty. Centrum nabízí restaurační provoz, kavárnu, multifunkční sály, prostor pro coworking, veřejnou dílnu, rozsáhlé výstavní prostory a ubytování. The subject of this bachelor thesis is the area of the textile factory Modeta in Jihlava, which is in the direct neighborhood of the zoo. The location of the Stříbrné Valley and area around the Jihlava River are near the historic city center. It has a great potential for development. In the urbanistic part, the thesis deals with the attractiveness of the space for the inhabitants and visitors, the permeability of the whole area and the appropriate connection to the surroundings. The architectural part solves the design of a multifunctional social center for locals and tourists. The center offers a restaurant, a café, multifunctional halls, a coworking area, a public workroom, an extensive exhibition area and an accommodation.
