Tato práce se zabývá přehledem metod rapid prototyping a jejich možností uplatnění ve slévárenství. Je rozdělena do tří částí. V první je uvedeno, jakým postupem se obecně vytvoří model pomocí technologie rapid prototyping. Ve druhé části je vytvořen přehled metod, které se používají ve světě. Je rozdělena na tři menší části, které představují základní dělení metod. Jsou zde uvedeny základní principy metod, jejich výhody, nevýhody a použití. V poslední části je představeno shrnutí současného stavu rapid prototyping v České republice. Zároveň je předveden praktický příklad, jak jde využit stroje metody rapid prototyping ve výrobě. This bachelor thesis deals with overview of Rapid Prototyping techniques and their application at foundry industry. It’s split into three parts. In the first part is shown whole process that leads to prototype creation with rapid prototyping techniques. Second part shows overview of techniques which are used around the world. It’s split into three smaller parts that shows basic allocation between techniques and there are main specifications, advantages, disadvantages and application. The last part is summary of current situation in Czech Republic and there is practical example of application Rapid Prototyping techniques at manufacturing.
