Táto práca poskytuje stručný prehžad o technológii vysokorýchlostného obrábania. Zaoberá sa vlastnosťami materiálu pri vysokej deformačnej rýchlosti v primárnej a sekundárnej oblasti a tvorbe triesky. Nadväzuje vožba nástrojové-ho materiálu a použitie pri rôznych typov materiálu. Práca sa taktiež venuje problematike vysokorýchlostného brúsenia, popísaním základného mechani-zmu a analýze tohto procesu a jeho perspektívami. This thesis gives a brief overwiev of high speed cutting technology. It out-lines material behavior at high strain rates in primary and secondary shear zone and chip forming. It continous in choice of tool material and using in various work material. There is also a reference to high speed grinding, defining its base mechanism and analyzing this process and its perpectives.
