Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na specifickou kategorii odpadu, kterým je komunální odpad. Zabývá se průzkumem současné produkce a způsobem nakládání s komunálním odpadem v České republice. V práci jsou uvedeny základní způsoby nakládání s komunálním odpadem, pozornost je zaměřena na energetické využití komunálních odpadů. Jsou představeny základní datové zdroje, které umožňují analyzovat situaci odpadového hospodářství. V dalších částech se pokouší srovnat měrnou produkci a způsoby nakládání s komunálním odpadem mezi Českou republikou a ostatními zeměmi Evropské unie, především Německem. The bachelor thesis is focused on a particular type of waste – municipal waste. It´s engaged in a research of current production and in a way of treatment of the municipal waste in the Czech Republic. In the work it´s stated the basic ways of the waste treatment and it´s focused on the energy recovery of municipal waste. It´s introduced the basic data resources, which enabled to analyze the waste management. In other parts of the thesis it´s compared specific production and the ways of waste treatment in the Czech Republic with the ways of waste disposal in other countries of European Union, especially Germany.
