Cílem této práce je analýza a porovnání koncepcí estetického prožitku dvou významných osobností estetiky 20. století, Romana Ingardena a Stephena Coburna Peppera. Na pozadí tohoto rozboru vyvstanou důležité otázky, na které se tato práce ve světle výše zmíněných koncepcí pokusí odpovědět. Jakou roli hraje v estetickém prožitku hmotné dílo a do jaké míry je zapojen vnímající subjekt? Co je objektem kritického hodnocení a na jakém základě posuzujeme estetické hodnoty? The objective of this thesis is to analyze and compare the theories of an aesthetic experience of two signifiant personalities in the aesthetics of the 20th century, Roman Ingarden and Stephen Coburn Pepper. On the background of this analysis arise important questions to which this work in the light of the above theories will try to answer. What a role plays the physical work in aesthetic experience and to what extent is the percieving subject involved? What is the object of critical appreciation and on what basis do we judge the aesthetic values?
