Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na život a dílo Otokara Fischera. Předmětem zkoumání jsou jak básnická, tak literárně kritická díla a jejich postavení v rámci dobové kultury. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř hlavních kapitol: první podává obraz doby počátku dvacátého století, druhá detailně seznamuje s autorovým životem. Další dvě se věnují tvorbě, a to jak kritice a jeho názorům na ni, tak poezii, která mimo jiné souvisí s Fischerovou účastí na Almanachu na rok 1914, jemuž je věnována pozornost v poslední kapitole. The bachelor thesis is focused on life and production of Otokar Fischer. Subject to examinate is as his poetry, so his literary critical writing and their position within period culture. Thesis is divided into four main sections: first one introduces the image of the beginning of the 21st century, second one familiarize the authors life in detail. The other two are dedicated to his creation, both criticism and his opinions on it, and the poetry, which inter alia is related to Fischers involvement on 1914 Almanac, to which attention is paid in the last chapter.
