Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na vysvětlení problematiky nekonvenční technologie obrábění abrazivním vodním paprskem. Úvodní kapitoly pojednávají a rozebírají jednotlivé techniky a metody dělení vodním paprskem. Poté se následující text věnuje detailnímu popisu samotného stroje a to z důvodu důkladného pochopení principu této technologie. Třetí kapitola je zaměřena na kvalitu výsledného povrchu a možností jejího ovlivnění technologickými parametry. S touto částí souvisí i praktická část diplomové práce, ve které se porovnávaly dosažené povrchy různých materiálů zhotovené různými řeznými parametry. Další část nastiňuje vývojové směry této technologie. Technicko-ekonomické zhodnocení je poslední část před samotným závěrem. This dissertation thesis is focused on explaining the broad issue of the non-conventional machining by an abrasive water jet. Introductory chapters deal with various techniques and methods of water-jet cutting and analyze them. Then the following text provides us with a detailed description of the machine itself so that people can understand the way how this technology works. The third chapter is focused on the quality of the resulting surface and the possibility of affecting it by technological parameters. This part is connected with the practical part of my thesis, in which the resultant surfaces of various materials made by different cutting parameters were compared. Subsequent section outlines the development of this technology. The last chapter contains technical and economic evaluation.
