Práca sa zaoberá opracovaním povrchov rôznych polymérnych biomateriálov pomocou plazmy generovanej za atmosférického tlaku. Plazma je generovaná medzi dvoma elektródami pričom medzi nimi je vložené dielektrikum. Za použitia tohto typu výboja sa skúma zmena povrchových vlastností opracovaného materiálu ako je povrchová energia a kontaktný uhol v závislosti na dobe opracovania. Vyhodnotenie výsledkov povrchovej analýzy bolo uskutočnené metódou merania kontaktného uhlu a povrchovej energie pomocou prístroja See System. Cieľom práce bolo porovnať zmenu povrchových vlastností materiálu pred opracovaním a po opracovaní v plazme ako aj zmenu povrchových vlastností v závislosti na dobe starnutia. Výsledky sa líšia od typu použitého materiálu. The work deals with the treatment of surfaces of various polymeric biomaterials using a plasma generated at atmospheric pressure. Plasma is generated between two electrodes among which is inserted dielectric material. By using this type of discharge, the difference of treated material surface quality is being examined, ie. surface energy and contact angle according to the time of processing. Evaluation of the results of surface analysis was performed by the method of measuring the contact angle and surface energy using the apparatus See System. The goal was to compare the surface quality change, before and after processing in the plasma, as also its dependency on the time of aging. The results differs according to the type of material.
